Senior Structural Engineer

As part of our expansion, we are looking to hire a talented Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design and delivery of engineering solutions for building projects from concept to completion. The role provides technical leadership, project coordination, review authority, and mentoring to junior engineers and BIM technicians while ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
· Lead the structural design process on building projects, including analysis and preparation of calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications.
· Ensure compliance with applicable codes, authority requirements, internal quality procedures, and project standards.
· Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and contractor submissions.
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to graduate engineers, engineers, and BIM staff.
· Help drive innovation in structural engineering, including advanced analysis, BIM-enabled workflows, and parametric/digital tools.
· Participate in project and client meetings, offering technical input and resolving structural challenges.
· Conduct site inspections and monitor structural works for conformance with design intent and safety requirements.
· Respond to RFIs and manage design changes during design and construction.
· Coordinate with clients, contractors, subconsultants, and authorities to maintain approvals and progress.
· Maintain project records, progress reporting, and documentation.
· Promote HSE compliance throughout structural activities.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
· 8-10 years of experience in building structures.
· Proven experience in steel and concrete design.
· Strong knowledge of UAE/KSA and international design codes.
· Strong project coordination, technical review, and stakeholder management capability.
· Proficiency in structural design software and Revit-aware workflows.
· Basic knowledge of parametric design workflows.
