Job Purpose

• Hold responsibility for the overall delivery of the project

• Manage both the technical and commercial aspects of projects

• Provides guidance and mentorship to more junior team members

Responsibilities

Sustainability Certification & Technical Delivery:

• Lead and manage sustainability certification processes including: LEED (v4.1 / v5) – BD+C, Communities WELL Building Standard / WELL Community Estidama PBRS Fitwel Other regional/global frameworks as required

• Develop credit strategies, scorecards, and gap assessments

• Prepare and review technical documentation, calculations, and submissions

• Coordinate with authorities and certification bodies (e.g., GBCI, Estidama, IWBI)

Project Management & Coordination:

• Act as Project Manager / Lead Consultant on assigned projects

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client communication

• Coordinate with internal teams (energy, carbon, microclimate, commissioning) Liaise with external stakeholders (clients, architects, MEP, contractors) Ensure alignment with project KPIs, ESG targets, and certification goals

Design & Construction Stage:

• Support Review design submissions (Concept to IFC) for sustainability compliance

• Support material submittal reviews, RFIs, and technical queries during construction Conduct/coordinate site inspections and progress reporting

• Ensure proper documentation for construction-stage certification credits

Technical Analysis & Reporting Support/oversee:

• Energy modelling coordination (IESVE familiarity preferred)

• Water efficiency calculations

• Indoor environmental quality strategies

• Embodied carbon / LCA inputs Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and client deliverables

QA/QC & Internal Processes:

• Follow AESG QA/QC protocols

• Ensure deliverables meet high technical and presentation standards

• Contribute to process improvement, templates, and knowledge sharing

Qualification and Experience

• Ideally qualified to MSc degree level with relevant academic or with post academic professional qualifications to carry out the role

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in sustainability consulting

• Strong experience across UAE/KSA/GCC projects (highly preferred)

• Proven track record in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects

• Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management

• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines Strong technical writing and reporting skills

• Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of: LEED (mandatory) WELL / Fitwel Estidama PBRS (preferred)

• Experience in both design and construction stages
