The Principal ELV Engineer will provide technical leadership for the planning, design, and delivery of ICT, Telecom, AV, Security, and Smart Technology systems across mixed-use developments, master planning, and infrastructure projects. The role requires a strong client-facing professional capable of managing multiple projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality project delivery. The successful candidate will mentor and develop team members, support business growth initiatives, and contribute to the continuous development of the ICT and ELV practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of ICT, Telecom, AV, Security, and Smart Technology systems for mixed-use developments, master plans, infrastructure, hospitality, commercial, and residential projects.

• Develop technology strategies, design criteria, and system architectures aligned with client requirements, industry standards, and project objectives.

• Manage the design and coordination of ICT infrastructure, including outside plant (OSP) networks, fiber optic backbone systems, telecom rooms, data centers, GPON/P2P networks, and smart city infrastructure.

• Lead the design and integration of Audio Visual (AV) systems, including digital signage, background music, IPTV, meeting rooms, command and control centers, public address, and entertainment systems.

• Prepare and review concept, schematic, detailed design, and tender documentation, including reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, operators, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems within the overall project design.

• Provide technical leadership, quality assurance, and design governance to ensure compliance with international standards, project requirements, and industry best practices.

• Mentor and guide engineers and designers, providing technical oversight, knowledge sharing, and support for professional development within the team.

• Manage project delivery, resource planning, design schedules, risk management, and commercial performance to ensure successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• Strong ICT, Telecom, AV, and ELV technical expertise

• Minimum 12 years of experience in a similar role
