JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for designing and delivering public health systems for buildings and infrastructure projects. This includes developing systems for water supply, drainage, sanitation, and waste management while ensuring compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and sustainability goals.
Deliver consultancy services to AESG’s clients
Execution of projects
Collaboration with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and innovative solutions that promote public safety and health.
Assist in business development activities related to consultancy services
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Master’s degree in public health engineering is an advantage.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in public health engineering, with a track record of delivering high-quality designs and installations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
Knowledge of relevant standards and codes, such as BS EN, CIBSE, or local regulations.
Familiarity with sustainability frameworks like LEED, BREEAM, or Estidama.
Experience in designing systems for high-rise buildings, hospitals, or other complex facilities.
Familiarity with hydraulic modeling and analysis software.
Certification in green building systems or sustainable design is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and Development:
Design public health systems for water supply, drainage, rainwater harvesting, and waste management for buildings and infrastructure projects.
Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and environmental sustainability requirements.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate public health systems into overall project designs.
Coordinate with contractors during the construction phase to ensure proper installation and commissioning of systems.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all designs and installations comply with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for regulatory approvals and inspections.
Sustainability Initiatives:
Incorporate sustainable solutions such as water-saving technologies, greywater recycling, and energy-efficient systems into designs.
Evaluate and implement innovative technologies to enhance system efficiency and environmental performance.
Technical Support and Problem-Solving:
Provide technical expertise and support to resolve issues during design, installation, and maintenance phases.
Conduct site inspections and provide recommendations to ensure project quality and compliance.
